PD Opportunities

Want to Learn More About OERs?

There are a lot of opportunities at a myriad of knowledge levels. Check out some of them below!

New Basics for Beginners Webinar series begins on January 17

Are you (relatively) new to the LibreTexts platform and looking for a good way to get started? In our new Basics for Beginners webinar our team will go over everything you need to get a free account, log in, navigate our libraries, and more--but not too much more because we mean it when we say this is one for beginners!

During the academic year, weekly webinars provide a forum to share discipline-based information as well as information on specific topics related to OER advocacy, adoption, and development. Live webinars provide an opportunity for the OERI to hear from faculty at the colleges and our archived webinars serve as a useful library of resources.

New and Archived Webinars

OpenStax is the world’s largest publisher of open education resources (OER) and a provider of interactive learning technologies and education research for high school and college. They are a nonprofit initiative of Rice University.
