On the eve of Memorial Day, a star-studded lineup will grace the stage for one of PBS’ highest-rated programs.
This multi-award-winning television event honors the military service and sacrifice of all our men and women in uniform,
their families and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Each year viewers send thousands of letters and emails in honor of loved ones and friends who have been wounded or died in one of America’s conflicts. Your contributions are a central part of the Memorial Day narrative, honoring the sacrifice of our brave service members in uniform.
LA Fleet Week® is an annual, multi-day celebration of our nation’s Sea Services held on the LA Waterfront at the Port of Los Angeles over the extended Memorial Day Weekend. This year’s public events include:

The Veterans Resource Center at Los Angeles Mission College is committed to supporting the academic and personal achievements of our student Veterans, Reservists, Active-Duty Military, and Dependents. The VRC is the bridge between military-connected students and the College. We offer many student resources of academic counseling, peer-to-peer networking, transfer and career services, tutoring, and much more.
A pass is your ticket to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Each pass covers entrance fees at national parks and national wildlife refuges as well as standard amenity fees (day use fees) at national forests and grasslands, and at lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. A pass covers entrance, standard amenity fees and day use fees for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle at per vehicle fee areas (or up to four adults at sites that charge per person). Children age 15 or under are admitted free.
